Started photographing in 1985. Around 2003 or 2004 I attended two workshops with Neil Silverman, (professional photographer) and a week-long training seminar at the Santa Fe Workshop in Santa Fe New Mexico. Upon retiring from my job I traveled to several National Parks and the Oregon coast as well as photographing around my residence in Reno, Nevada. In 2008 I moved to Colorado.
